For nineteen years Joe Tantillo owned a graphic design firm in the Hudson Valley, in which he followed sound marketing principles to improve his clients' business by developing successful advertising and marketing campaigns and consistent branding in the marketplace. He had a mix of industrial clients, institutions such as hospitals and health care facilities, banks and credit unions, and several publishers. He had the ultimate responsibility for getting the total job done, including managing a staff of designers and freelancers, controlling production costs, supervising outside vendors, meeting with clients, and making strategic decisions. His agency, Tantillo Design Group, won 32 awards for design excellence.

At Framework Joe designed the graphic user interface for its signature product, LendWare (a web software program for large mortgage lenders, n-tiered and web-based, a truly revolutionary product in the mortgage industry). As one of his projects heI created an interactive, individually customizable portal intranet that was in use from 2002 to 2005, which improved communication and data management throughout the company. He was able to work at a highly creative level and integrate that aspect with business needs and technology. He enjoyed the challenges of customizing the interactive design for individual clients (including Bank of America and Washington Mutual) while maintaining the integrity of the web-based application.

In 2006 As a marketing and advertising consultant for Lovejoy Tool Company, he established a corporate branding program for national recognition in the metal cutting technologies industry; introduced a system for database tracking of advertising response and sales leads; developed sales campaigns and an incentive program for new and existing products; created Flash movies for product data and began to renovate the company website; analyzed competitive marketing trends and planned the response; and developed a public relations program.

Today, Joe lives in the Hudson Valley and has been freelancing in the greater Tri-State Region. His most recent assignment was with Ernst & Young, LLP. He continues his fine art career with various fine art exhibits and historical art projects.

Joe is experienced in all standard design programs and teaches several of them. He works cross platform on both the PC and MAC:
